Tens of thousands of visitors enter Ocean Kingdom each day. Features include ten large animal exhibits each of which focuses on live collections from specific habitats around the world.

In addition to all multimedia, audio for soundscapes and a smartphone application, Magian produced interpretive plans and bi-lingual content to bring the animal collections, their behaviours, and adaptations to life for a broad audience. Magian designed the technical infrastructure and specified screen and soundscape hardware technology for the animal exhibits on site. The soundscapes are managed by the Magian DiAC system in all animal exhibits.

Content is planned and produced to be appropriate to an audience intent on entertainment yet wanting a layer of information to enrich their experience at the park. Bright graphic light boxes supported by large, mural scale print graphics colourfully enrich the visitor experience in the themed exhibits. Multimedia touchscreens – both 42″ 'poster' orientated and 70″ multi-touch – provide visitors with engaging videos and information about the behaviours and habitats of the extensive animal collections.

The smartphone application can be downloaded by visitors to their phones at Ocean Kingdom. The smartphone application, operating on both Apple and Android smartphones, provides another layer of entertainment and education. It delivers species ID information, videos, enhancements to the photographs visitors take themselves, and activities gathered from QR codes embedded in the interpretive print graphics. The printed graphics and multimedia interfaces and functionality for touchscreens and multi-touchscreens are all designed for a theme park audience. Information is delivered in small packets of entertaining information using more light-hearted than didactic language. All content is bi-lingual.
